Delete Your GymShape Account

Option 1: Delete inside the app

1. Open GymShape and sign in.
2. Open Profile.
3. Select Delete account.
4. Type DELETE.
5. Confirm ownership using your password or the same Google account used for GymShape.
6. Review the final warning and confirm permanent deletion.

The in-app process begins deletion immediately after successful identity verification.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

1. Send an email from the address connected to your GymShape account to support@gymshapeapp.com.
2. Use the subject Delete My GymShape Account.
3. State clearly that you want your account and personal data permanently deleted.
4. Complete any reasonable identity-verification step we request.

We aim to complete verified email deletion requests within 30 days.

Information deleted

• Firebase Authentication account.
• GymShape profile information, including name and email.
• Workout quiz answers and body information.
• Workout plans, history, and progress information stored for the account.
• Nutrition preferences, generated plan information, and related account data.
• Workout Premium, Nutrition Plan, and Gym Partner access information stored for the account.
• User-scoped local GymShape data stored on the device where deletion is completed in the app.

Information not controlled by GymShape

Google may retain records it controls independently, such as Google Play purchase history, under Google's own policies.

We may retain limited information only where required by law, necessary to prevent fraud, protect service security, or resolve a legal dispute.

Gym Partner code privacy

Redeemed Gym Partner code records retain their used status and redemption dates so a one-time code cannot be reused. New redemption records do not store the member's Firebase UID or email address.
