Delete Your GymShape Account

You may permanently delete your GymShape account and personal data directly in the app or by sending a verified email request.

Option 1: Delete directly in the app

  1. Open GymShape and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Profile, choose Delete Account, and review the warning.
  3. Confirm deletion and complete the requested recent sign-in step. Depending on your account, this may use your password, Google account, or Apple account.
  4. Wait for the confirmation that deletion is complete before removing the app.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

  1. Send an email from the address connected to your GymShape account to support@gymshapeapp.com.
  2. Use the subject Delete My GymShape Account.
  3. State clearly that you want your account and personal data permanently deleted.
  4. Complete any reasonable identity-verification step we request.

We aim to complete verified email deletion requests within 30 days.

Information deleted

  • Firebase Authentication account.
  • GymShape profile information, including name and email.
  • Workout quiz answers and body information.
  • Workout plans, history, and progress information stored for the account.
  • Nutrition preferences, generated plan information, and related account data.
  • Workout Premium, Nutrition Plan, and Gym Partner access information stored for the account.
  • Battle profile, Battle Code, associated Battle records, and tracked leaderboard entries for the account.
  • User-scoped local GymShape data stored on the device where deletion is completed in the app.

Information not controlled by GymShape

Google or Apple may retain records they control independently, such as store purchase history or identity-provider records, under their own policies.

We may retain limited transaction-verification, security, anti-fraud, refund, revocation, or dispute information only where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service and prevent abuse.

Purchases are not automatically refunded

Deleting your GymShape account does not automatically cancel, reverse, or refund a Google Play or Apple App Store transaction. Request any eligible refund through the store that processed the purchase.
